1. Discuss research findings about how neighborhood context people live in affect their physical and mental health. Present positive and negative findings (i.e., affecting mental health positively and negatively). And explain why and how?

2. Discuss the relationship between poverty and teenage pregnancy? What are the findings? How can we explain the effect of poverty on teenage pregnancy?

3. What are the outcomes of Single parenting on mother (or father as single parent) and child(ren)? Does it lead to depression? What are the findings about the relationship between single parenting and depression/anxiety/mental health? Are they always negative? Positive? Why?

6. Discuss the relationship between SES (socioeconomic status) and obesity? What are the findings? How can we explain the effect of SES on obesity?

7. Present research findings regarding the implicit biases that physicians and nurses may have when they provide care for people of color or other stigmatized groups such LGBTQ or underserved. How and in what ways do these happen? What may be some social policies to avoid these biases?

8. How do macro-level factors affect the health behaviors? Discuss the research findings and provide specific examples. What may be some social policies to minimize the negative influence of these macro-level factors?
